welcome Dorset runners
The Dorset Hollow 10K is a rolling and scenic loop with sweeping mountain views and approximately 550' of climbing and descending. The 5K is the 300' net downhill second half of the 10K -- a beautiful course for fast times!

Chartered in 1761, Dorset is one of Vermont's greatest treasures! Enjoy quintessential Vermont scenery as you run through beautiful Dorset Hollow along the banks of the Mettawee River. Chip timing, free participant photos, tech tees and unique finishers medals for all distances! Mostly packed dirt roads with some pavement.

Walkers are welcome! There will be a 2-hour cutoff for both distances, making the 5k especially walker-friendly!

The Dorset Hollow Road Race is part of the Dorset Running Festival, a three-day running extravaganza with road and trail races from 1 mile to 50K. A portion of the proceeds of the Dorset Running Festival benefit Second Chance Animal Center, Bennington County's humane society that serves animals in Southwestern Vermont and nearby New York and Massachusetts.
